Hale County Meals on Wheels delivers a nutritious noon-time meal to an average of 180 clients each weekday.  Recipients must live in the city limits of Plainview or in the Seth Ward community.

Eligible clients may have the cost of their meals paid by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.  Qualification is based on age and disability.  Please contact the Texas Health and Human Services Commission intake number (877) 723-9049 to apply.

If funds are available, Hospice patients are eligible to receive their meals free of charge from community donations and grants.

Hospital and nursing care facility patients that have been released within the last five days are eligible to receive meals free of charge for 10 days.  These meals are also funded by community donations and grants.
